How to add AI vocals to your own beat
Updated · AI Vocals Generator
Upload your beat (MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC or OGG, up to 8 minutes), paste your lyrics or describe the song, and choose sung or rapped and a female or male voice. About a minute later you get two vocal takes, each as its own track over your untouched beat: balance them, nudge the timing if a word lands late, and download the vocal or the full mix.
Real result
The beat was made with AI for this demo. Take 2 of 2, as it came out; the mix is both tracks at full volume.
Before you start
- Use the finished beat, not a 4-bar loop: an intro, verses and a hook give the singer room to place the words.
- Write one sung line per lyric line, and mark sections with [Verse], [Chorus] and [Bridge].
- A steady tempo works best. Beats that speed up or slow down are harder for the AI to follow.
- Audio you made yourself, or that you have the rights to use: for a leased beat, a lease that allows new recordings over it.
- No songs or stems by other artists that you don't have the rights to, and no recordings of anyone who didn't agree.
Step by step
- Upload your beat on the home page (no sign-up needed). MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC or OGG, 10 seconds to 8 minutes, up to 60 MB.
- Paste your lyrics, or switch to "AI writes the words" and describe what the song is about in one line.
- Choose sung or rapped, a female or male voice, and a style in a few words ("smooth R&B", "gritty rock", "laid-back trap flow").
- Make it: one song (two takes) is $4.99 on its own, or 10 credits; credits start at $9.99 for 50 (5 songs).
- Wait about a minute. Both takes play over your beat in the mixer: switch takes, set the levels, and move the vocal earlier or later if it needs it.
- Download the vocal as an MP3 (to finish it in your own DAW) or the mix as a WAV.
Getting a better vocal
- Describe the delivery, not just the genre: "breathy, soft verses, big chorus" or "fast, aggressive flow, ad-libs".
- If a take misses, try the other one first: the two takes are different performances.
- Rap bars that match your beat's bar length land better than long run-on lines.
- Generic AI voices only: you can't ask for a named singer's voice.
Does the AI change my beat?
No. The AI generates only the vocal, as its own track, and the mixer plays it over your file. The beat itself is never re-recorded, so your mix and your sounds stay exactly as you made them.
