AI Song Generator FAQ
Can I use my own lyrics?
Yes. Paste them under My lyrics and they are sung (or rapped) as written. Mark sections with [Verse] and [Chorus]. Leave them out and the AI writes words about your idea.
How long is a song?
Usually two to four minutes, depending on the lyrics; an instrumental is often about two minutes. Both versions come as MP3.
Can it sound like a famous singer?
No. There is no voice cloning and no celebrity voice, and artist names in the style are refused. Pick a female or male voice and describe the sound, like "soulful R&B" or "gritty rock".
Can I add vocals to a beat I already have?
Yes, that's the AI Vocals tool: upload your beat and the AI sings on it, keeping your beat exactly as it is. This tool writes new music.
Can I use the song commercially?
The songs are yours to use, including on streaming services and in videos, as long as the words are yours to use and the song isn't passed off as a real artist's. Every song here is labelled as AI-made.
How much does it cost?

Do I need to sign up?
No. Upload your file and make the song right away. Without signing in, your songs are accessible through this browser for 30 days from your first upload; clearing browser data or switching devices may make them inaccessible. Sign in to keep your songs and access them on any device, buy credit packs or send a gift.
How long does it take?
Usually about a minute. Sometimes it takes a few minutes, or longer when the AI service is busy. The song shows up in My songs as soon as it's ready, even if you close the page.
Can I release the songs I make?
Commercial use comes with every song you pay for, with nothing to credit: release it, stream it, sell it. We claim no rights in what you make. You need the rights to the file you upload (for a leased beat, as far as the lease allows). In some countries AI-generated parts can't be copyrighted, and distributors have their own rules for AI music.
Which languages can it sing in?
Write your lyrics in any language and the AI sings them as written. If the AI writes the lyrics, they come in the language of your idea, or of the page you are on. Most of our examples are in English, and one is in Spanish.
Is it free?
No. Each song is paid, on its own or with credits (from $9.99). Credits are taken only when a song starts and given back if it fails.
How long do you keep my files?
Uploaded files are deleted automatically after 30 days (after 2 days if you never made a song with them). Songs stay in My songs until you delete them, and you can delete everything from your account at any time. We don't use your files to train AI models.
What if a song fails?
The credits go back to your balance automatically and you can try again. The AI service sometimes refuses a file, for example when it matches a commercial recording; that's refunded too. Not happy with your first paid song? Email us within 7 days for a full refund.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits you buy or get as a gift never expire. Subscription credits stay too, even after you cancel.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, any time from My songs. It stops at the end of the period you paid for, and you keep your credits.
Can I give credits to a friend?
Yes. Turn any number of your credits into a gift link, or buy a pack as a gift. Your friend signs in, opens the link, and the credits are theirs.
How do I pay?
Checkout is run by Stripe: card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and, depending on your country, local payment methods. Prices are in US dollars; checkout can also show your local currency.
Is AI Vocals Generator Suno, or a voice cloning tool?
No. AI Vocals Generator is an independent website, not made by or affiliated with Suno, Udio or any record label. It adds a generic AI voice or band to your own file and returns it as its own track. It doesn't clone voices and has no celebrity voices.
